Gave a three-pod system with a cherry tomato seed kit as a gift. Nowhere in the description was it mentioned that only ONE seed pod came with the kit! Feels like a big rip-off! Yes, the tomatoes will take up more space than a petunia, but the company should warn people that the tomato kit only has one plant. Considering the price, you can get a lot of tomatoes at the store!

i need ideas for flower garden boarders?
i am in the process of planting new flower gardens…FUN! flower Garden but im trying to come up with something inexpensive, and pleasing to the eye that i can use as a boarder, and for a retaining wall…any ideas you may have would be great!

Like others, I found this at a local ‘big box’ store for around $30. It was idiot-proof to put together, and all of the pieces fit easily. If you wanted to move it around much without the frame pieces popping out, squirting some adhesive caulk or glue in as you put it together would do the trick. The plastic cover fits nicely over the frame, but with enough “wiggle room” that you can place two standard-size flats per shelf, for 8 flats total. I’m using this for hardening off indoor-started seedlings. This is small enough to (carefully!) move around to either get a little sun or into the shade. Draping a sheet or tarp over it would also shade the inside so long as opened the front to allow for air circulation. This is definitely NOT a heavy-weather or “heavy duty” unit. If you get severe weather (esp. wind/hail), the a more durable model or additional protection for this one should be considered.

great for seedlings. not much room to add a light for indoor growth. would be nice if it had wheels.

Excellent Greenhouse. Perfect size if you are like me, an apt dweller, don’t have a backyard, and/or live in a city in which the weather conditions are not condusive to growing anything humans like to eat besides wild berries.

I was really excited when the FedEx person delivered this greenhouse. It set up fairly easily. With correct indoor lighting, you trully can grow anything. I recommend this book, “The Insatiable Gardener’s GD:” by Susan M Brackney. It’s a great intro GD to indoor gardening, espically if you are interested in growing fruits/ veggies, or herbs, and haven’t the foggiest idea how to begin.

However, I would not recommend this greenhouse to a homeowner expecting to set it up on the back porch. It really is flimsy, unless you weighted it down with something.

I bought two of these at a major, home improvement store where I live for a lot less then they are here. I had already read the reviews so I was ready to make a few adjustments to keep them from blowing over & to keep the shelves in place. As suggested by others who bought this item, I secured the shelves to the frame using cable ties. Works perfectly & took about 3 mintues to complete. I then built a small cart for each unit using scrap wood from other projects, attached four casters to the bottom of each cart for ease of moving around my patio to take full advantage of the sun (or not). Then I mounted the units on the carts by drilling holes thru the plastic side frames and used two long screws with washers to secure each unit to the carts. I also drilled holes from top to bottom thru the plastic side frames & inserted a long garden stake, one per side all the way down to a hole drilled in the wooden cart. This added stability & the entire unit is weighed down by the cart so it won’t blow over. I have had some very windy days & all has been well. We are still experiencing frost at night here in the upper midwest & I can easily roll my green houses into the garage at night for extra protection.
It is unfortunate that one has to make adjustment at all in order to make these mini-greenhouses usable, but considering the low cost compared to other models, I felt it was still a good purchase & a worthwhile effort on my part. I now have a whole lot of seedlings to plants & I am happy with the outcome.

This was a surprisingly easy beginning gardening project, and I’m now getting wonderful homegrown tomoatoes! It was simple to put together, and everything fit like it was supposed to.

This is much better than all others I bought from eBay. Watch out some cheap made in China spinner on eBay.

This wind spinner was easy to put together, colorful and delightful to watch. In fact, I’m going to buy several more to put among the flowers in the yard. The grandchildren love them as well.

I purchased 2 of the Pink Roses from Moonrays. They are beautiful to look at day and night. I would recommend you buy one or two to accent your gardens.

This rose is large and beautiful. It stands out with the bright red color.

When I read the description, I assumed there was 3 pods of seeds in the kit. I had bought these as a gift for Christmas and when the person opened them up, there was only one pod of seeds in them. The description is very bad and does not depict what you are really buying.

We bought our Aerogarden at Christmas. It is now May and we have a whopping one cherry tomato that is almost ripe. The tomato plant grew quickly and in fact the leaves keep getting burned by the grow light because it is so tall. There are some other blooms on the plant now but at this rate our regular outdoor garden will be producing before we get any tomatoes off of this. (We thought it would be a great way to get tomatoes during the winter). We did Basil in another Aerogarden and it did fine so maybe we just got a bad plant.

When I opened this packaging, I was more than a little surprised to discover only ONE seed pod and two spacers. Not at all what I was expecting based on my experience with the prior sets I’d received for about the same price which included three seed pods and three spacers. Now I have to order two more in order to fully use my aerogarden?? And to second what another poster mentioned: nutrient packets had a LOT of moisture — evidence of poor packaging and/or poor storage. Disappointed that I can’t start my next crop….

We have had a couple of these with our 3 pod garden. Recently bought the herb kit to grow. Of the three pods, the chives we a dud. Have had the cherry tomatos in the past with great results. Just a bit bummed that the pod failed to grow. I will try contacting Aerogarded.
